Why Zuci Systems Came Into Existence

Janaha
Assistant Marketing Manager

I write about fintech, data, and everything around it

As an intern back in 2005, I started off with manual testing and continued to work in the same space for 4 years before I moved to functional test automation using Silktest in 2009. Since 2009, I have used functional test automation tools such as Testcomplete, Selenium Webdriver and Ranorex for web automation and Calabash, Appium for mobile test automation. I had the opportunity to write tests using these tools with popular progamming languages such as Java, C# and Ruby. In addition to functional testing, i also worked on non functional testing tools such as JMeter and Loadrunner for Performance testing.

Interdependent Software Testing

This post is not to brag about my resume :) but to put forth my reasons behind initiating Zuci(pr.shu-chi) Systems. After spending 10 years in the world of software and software testing, I have realized that the era of “Independent Software Testing” services is gone and what the industry needs today is “Interdependent Software Testing”. If the words “Independent” and “Interdependent” sound familiar, yes I borrowed them from Stephen Covey’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. :)

Remember what Covey says about Interdependence in the context of an individual?

“As an independent person, I have the opportunity to share myself deeply, meaningfully, with others, and I have access to the vast resources and potential of other human beings.”

We bootstrapped Zuci on the same lines. We wanted “to instill quality into the software by being mutually reliant on people and other resources that are involved in building and using the software”. It takes top notch talent to build solutions that reflect this principle and Zuci nurtures talent by providing versatile exposure to all facets of software engineering with a special emphasis on testing and quality.
